The Armchair Collective has a variety of therapists to serve you. We are located in Kingston, Ontario and offer counselling or therapy for topics such as; anxiety, self-esteem, confidence, burnout, boundaries, relationships, work stress, family dynamics, life transitions, and substance use among many others.

Amanda supports high-functioning people navigating burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and imposter syndrome. Her work focuses on helping clients reclaim a sense of balance, self-worth, and authentic connection—without the pressure to be everything to everyone.

Grounded in attachment, she supports people in understanding why they may feel stuck, lonely, or exhausted, and helps them find a better way to show up for themselves.

Nina uses a trauma-informed, holistic, person-centered approach to psychotherapy, meaning that she works with you to identify your goals and needs, and always place you in control of where our focus is in session. She tailors her treatment approach to your specific needs, drawing from narrative therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, CBT and DBT.

Victoria is committed to supporting 2SLGBTQ+ individuals and their families explore their identities, navigate access to gender-affirming care, strengthen coping skills and build resilience. Victoria supports folks in understanding how interpersonal, familial, and socio-cultural systems impact well-being. Victoria's practice is trauma-informed and incorporates both Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

Danielle enjoys supporting folks 12 y/o and older with a variety of concerns: anxiety, depression, substance use, life transitions and loss. She has experience working with all ages and backgrounds. Danielle has significant experience supporting indigenous folks, youth, and people who have been involved in the justice system (both survivors and accused/charged).

Patrick works alongside folks from all walks of life who are navigating concerns of anxiety, depression, relationships, and other challenges resulting from life experiences and daily stressors. He uses an integrative, trauma-informed approach that draws from Internal Family Systems, Narrative, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, DBT, CBT, and is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy.

Lisa believes that healing can happen in relation; she strives to create a safe, inclusive, compassionate connection to help you feel seen and to uncover what healing and transformation in your life can be.
Lisa supports couples, families and individuals, drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT, EFIT & EFFT), Narrative Therapy and Attachment Theory and more.
