The Armchair Collective has a variety of therapists to serve you. We are located in Kingston, Ontario and offer counselling or therapy for topics such as; anxiety, self-esteem, confidence, burnout, boundaries, relationships, work stress, family dynamics, life transitions, and substance use among many others.

grief and loss, trauma, anger management, and men’s issues. Dave also loves to support his 2SLGBTQI+ community.

Emily helps individuals and couples, ages 14 to 100, by building a better understanding of themselves.
Grounded in attachment, she supports people in understanding why they may feel stuck, lonely, or exhausted, and helps them find a better way to show up for themselves.

Kelly currently works frequently with young adults and women as they work to explore experiences surrounding life transitions, relationships, school, anxiety, self-esteem, and stress.
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Nina uses a trauma-informed, holistic, person-centered approach to psychotherapy, meaning that she works with you to identify your goals and needs, and always place you in control of where our focus is in session. She tailors her treatment approach to your specific needs, drawing from narrative therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, CBT and DBT.
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Tara wants to support you in creating your own path toward self-discovery and healing and help you regain control and power in your life. She draws from 18 years of varied experience, including roles as a Clinical Therapist and Police Constable. In therapy, she focuses on emotion regulation, stress/burnout, trauma, self-esteem, and relationship/work challenges.

Nathalie works from an eclectic approach that tailors treatment to the needs of the client. Through CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, IFS and somatic orientations, she loves to help those in College and University reach their goals through management of their anxiety, school stresses, perfectionism, transitional periods, relationships and traumas.

Registered Social Worker
Victoria is committed to supporting 2SLGBTQ+ individuals and their families explore their identities, navigate access to gender-affirming care, strengthen coping skills and build resilience. Victoria supports folks in understanding how interpersonal, familial, and socio-cultural systems impact well-being. Victoria's practice is trauma-informed and incorporates both Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Robin supports young adults who may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, burned out, or unaligned, especially in relation to themes of people-pleasing, perfectionism, self-criticism, and self-doubt. Robin is also passionate about co-creating safe, supportive and affirming spaces for folks who may also be fellow members of the neurodivergent community and/or the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Registered Social Worker
Danielle enjoys supporting folks 12 y/o and older with a variety of concerns: anxiety, depression, substance use, life transitions and loss. She has experience working with all ages and backgrounds. Danielle has significant experience supporting indigenous folks, youth, and people who have been involved in the justice system (both survivors and accused/charged).
